Pick the best photos from a shoot
Drop a folder. Photos are scored for look and sharpness, bursts are grouped, and the best of each is picked.
How the photos are scored
Two small networks (NIMA, trained by idealo) give each photo a mark out of 10 for how much people would like it and another for blur, noise and compression. Exposure and sharpness are measured directly, and MediaPipe finds faces: in a burst the face must be sharp, and shut eyes cost marks, on faces at least a tenth of the picture wide. It all runs in this tab. Use the marks as a first pass: they don’t know who is in the picture or why you took it.
